DAM stands for Digital Asset Management. In Brandflux, the DAM is the searchable archive of video ads you have exported. It is per-account and it is the substrate the compounding moat accumulates in.
What lands in the DAM
Exported ads. When you export a video ad, the file flows into the DAM automatically with its full provenance: which Brand DNA version it was rendered against, the template it was built from, and the timestamp.
How it gets searched
- Filters. Format, performance tag, date range.
- Tags. Manual tags added by you, plus performance tags you can layer in after posting (which ad shipped, which underperformed, which became the winner of a paid run).
- Lineage. Trace an exported ad back to the Brand DNA version it was rendered against.
The combination turns the DAM from a folder into a queryable record of what worked and why.
What the DAM is not
The DAM is not a generic file storage tool. It does not store in-progress renders or raw uploads outside the brand archive. The discipline is deliberate: the DAM’s value comes from being the curated record of brand truth.
